Damage billions of dollars of property each year. Queens can live up to 25 years. New colonies "swarm" every few years.

Fleas

Nuisanse to humans and pets. Injestion by pets can cause tapeworms. Infestation on animals can result in anemia and skin allergies. Females can lay up to 600 eggs in a lifetime.

Roaches

Can contaminate food and carry bacterial diseases. Can cause childhood asthma. Roaches can live for more than a month without food, but only a few days without water.

Ants

Live in colonies in loose soil, in home foundations, or in trees. Colonies are started by a single queen.Can become a nuisance in homes and contaminate food.

Black Widow Spiders

Can become aggresive when disturbed or gaurding eggs. Bites can cause severe illness and muscle craps, and in rare cases, death. This is considered the most venomous spider in North America.

Ticks

Can infest weeds grass and wood piles. Ticks attach themselves to animals and feed on blood. Females can lay thousands of eggs a day.Carry diseases such as Rocky Mt. Spotted Fever and Lyme Disease. There are many species of ticks.

Wasps

Beneficial to agriculture but can become a nuisance when nesting around homes and living spaces. May become aggresive and sting repeatedly if disturbed. Some people have allergic reactions to sting.

Silverfish

Feed on wallpaper paste, paper, books, photos, clothing, linens and foodstuffs. Often found in damp bathroom and laundry rooms walls. Are active at night, and move very quickly.
